The first book of the Gentleman Companion Trilogy, Gentleman Companion One, introduces Lawrence the Gentleman Companion. I received this book through GoodReads. It was my first time to win a book. Thanks! I couldn't wait to get to reading it and was done the second day. It just kept calling me back!The chapters each dealt with a gentleman companion and the women who had hired him as her special date for that day while on a cruise ship. He made each person feel special and each date was unique. There were things that made you wonder and I don't know if it will be explained more in the next book or if Patricia wanted to make us think. Either way, I will definitely read more of her books.
This was a good, quick read but very thought provoking!
